Check a capsule in your browser
Drop a capsule folder (one with noqtis.json and noqtis.sig at its top)
onto the box, or choose it. The page reads the files in this tab and
checks them with the NOQTIS library compiled to WebAssembly, the same code
as the noqtis command. It prints the rows that
noqtis check prints.

or
Trust this public key (optional)
Paste a public key file (noqtis-key-1 ... pub) or choose one. The seal must then carry exactly this key, as withnoqtis check -p. Without it, any key's seal passes.
What the result means
Section titled “What the result means”- OK means every file listed in
noqtis.jsonis present with the same size, SHA-256 and SHA3-256, no other file is in the folder, and the signature innoqtis.sigover those exact manifest bytes is valid. - Without a trusted public key, the check accepts whatever key the seal
carries, so anyone could have made it; give the sealer’s
.pubfile to check who sealed it. See Check someone else’s capsule. - Try it tampered changes one bit of one byte of the sample’s
a.txt, keeping its size: the digests no longer match and the check fails. - A file your system adds to the folder (
.DS_Storeon macOS, for example) is a file not in the manifest, and fails the check, as it would with the command.
The folder is held in memory while it is checked, so a very large capsule
is better checked with the noqtis command, which streams. Timestamps
need trust anchors, which this page does not take: a seal that carries one
fails here, as noqtis check without anchors fails.
