Petrosian fractal dimension \(D = \\log_{10}(N) / (\\log_{10}(N) + \\log_{10}(N / (N + 0.4 N_\delta)))\), where \(N_\delta\) counts sign changes of the first difference. A fast complexity proxy for EEG/ECG.
