(mean s over A_1 - mean s over A_2) / sd over the union. ddof = 0 is numpy's default, i.e. the POPULATION standard deviation, not R's sd().

Usage

morie_kamath_ch6_weat_effect_size(A_1, A_2, W_1, W_2, ddof = 0)

Arguments

A_1, A_2

Attribute matrices.

W_1, W_2

Target matrices.

ddof

Degrees of freedom subtracted; 0 = population.

Value

List with estimate, numerator, std.

Examples

W1 <- diag(2)
W2 <- -diag(2)
A1 <- diag(2)
A2 <- matrix(c(1, 2, 1, 0), 2)
