Standard error of an item response theory score

\(SE(\theta) = 1 / \sqrt{I(\theta)}\) for a test information value \(I(\theta)\). Exact, not an approximation: it is the definition of the standard error in the item response theory measurement model.

Usage

morie_irt_theta_se(information)

Arguments

information

Test information at the trait level of interest.

Value

Numeric standard errors, one per element of information.
