Unlike boxplot(), the quartiles come from the ideal fourths. With carling = TRUE the fence is Carling's (2000) modification, centred on the MEDIAN with a sample-size dependent multiplier (17.63 n - 23.64) / (7.74 n - 3.71).

Usage

morie_boxplot_outliers(x, carling = FALSE, gval = NULL)

Arguments

x

numeric vector

carling

use Carling's modification

gval

override the fence multiplier

Value

list with lower, upper, gval, iqr, is_outlier, outliers, keep, n_outliers

Examples
