Sprawl entropy

Relative Shannon entropy H / log(n) of built-up land (or density) over n zones; near 1 for dispersed growth, near 0 for compact growth.

Arguments

Built-up area per zone.

area

Optional zone areas.

Value

list(entropy, relative, max, shares).
